Thank you for supporting the Seattle Metaphysical Library
Videos
Our volunteer, Max Hudson, is curating a selection of VHS tapes for a monthly movie screening event.  The Weird Science Salon has supplied us with a screen, and they are working on getting us a projector, so we can show some of the unique VHS tapes we have collected over the past six (!) decades.  Max's emphasis will be on interesting tapes that have not been digitized, not converted to DVD, and not available online.
Members Only Books
Some of our member-only books will be available for check-out.  This involves looking up how much it would cost to replace the book with another used copy, and putting a credit card hold for that amount + $10.  If the book is not returned in 28 days, the charge will go through.
We just got a donation of Penetration, by Ingo Swann that will go into that section.

Fragile or books that we cannot purchase on the internet will stilll be available only in the Library.
Rearranging the shelves
We are still looking for another volunteer or two.  It will help us utilize the space better.  We can also put in a book drop, so that people will not be restricted to our open hours when they want to return books.
If you are willing to help, please respond to this newsletter, and let me know.  This will probably be in October.  It will take a while to plan.
We will be needing some simple carpentry work, also. .
When you respond, say if it's for this one-time volunteer job, or if you want a generic volunteer response.  Several people have written in to say they are willing to volunteer, and I've sent out volunteer application forms, which may be overkill ("why do you want to volunteer?""What do you want to do?" etc)
So if you are just want to be put on the volunteer list for this move, say so in your reponse,  - Many thants!
Looking for a website builder
We are digitizing our collection of audio and video tapes, and would like to make them available to the public.  We would also like to list the members-only books in a password-protected directory..  We will  get some grant money to build web pages to do this, so if you  know of a professional website builder that might be interested in taking this on, please let me know by responding to this email.
First Fridays, next is October 1 at 7:30 pm (or so)
Please schedule with Bill, as the building will not be open to the public!

ATTENTION ALL TESLA WORSHIPPERS, FREE-ENERGY BUFFS, "CRAZY" INVENTORS, ANOMALY HUNTERS, SCALAR RESEARCHERS, ANTIGRAVITATIONALISTS, AND OVER UNITARIANS!

Meetings of Seattle's "weird sciences group" will take place the first Friday of each month.

Out of Australia: Aborigines, the Dreamtime, and the Dawn of the Human Race

by Steven Strong and Evan Strong

Are you fascinated by the research into the origins of the human race, and the earliest now-forgotten civilizations?
Join us for an online Zoom meeting, the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of rhe month, at 7 pm
These are low-stress meetings - we take months to read some books.  You need not have read the book to participate.

This book brings together 30 years of intensive research in consultation with elders in the original Australian community. Among their conclusions are the following:

* There is evidence that humans existed in Australia 40,000 years before they existed in Australia.
* There were migrations of original Australians in large boats throughout the Indian/Pacific rim.
* Three distinct kinds of Homo sapiens are found in Australia.
* There is evidence from the Americas that debunks the out-of-Africa theory.
* The spiritual influence of the Aborigines is reflected in the religions of the world.

Reply to this newsletter if you want an invitation and link to join the meeting.

Penetration - The Question of Extraterestrial and Human Telepathy

By Ingo Swann, 1998

Renowned telepaht Ingo Swann, whose secrecy oath has expired, tells meetings held in a secret underground facility and of being taken to a remote location near the Arctic Circle to witness the expected arrival of a huge UFO. This book explores the fact that we officially know far more than we're admitting about the Moon -- its origins, its atmosphere, its occupants and many other unusual features. Penetration is about one of the means by which we can learn more about those not of this earth (and vice-versa) -- telepathy. Do we have the means to answer some very important questions that many have been asking for quite a long time? Inside this book are the answers to some.
