Classes our Artists are Teaching:
- Tyler Kulenguski (Jewelry/Metalsmithing) - 1) Learn basic Wire-Wrapping to create closed wrapped loops, ear wires, and basic clasps, and make your own earrings. 2) Learn to fuse Fine Silver wire and make hand crafted ear wires, chain, and toggles, without the complications of solder or flux. 3) Learn Basic Soldering and make earrings or a pendant. Visit with award winning artist Roger Frey as he demonstrates pencil drawing. Roger, originally from Chicago, was educated in art in California and Italy. An Artists’ Undertaking Gallery artist since 2007, his works include acrylics, etchings, printmaking, portraits & landscapes. His unique works express his desire to create a personal style that meets his expressive needs.

Encaustic Painting
Explore the ancient technique of Encaustic Painting with gallery member Patricia Giovannoni. Her presentation will discuss - What is encaustic painting? She will demonstrate the tools, materials, and basic steps for this technique. View some of her works in various stages of this process.
Originally from Argentina, Patricia’s appreciation of her surroundings & love of nature with it’s colors & textures is translated into her artworks.

Burke artist - Patti Durbin’s message is - E.Y.A.Y.A. - Embrace Yourself As You Are. She will discuss her work and have a variety of fabric shapes & colors for visitors to experiment with to create an image. Patti’s images are diverse & express the joy & uniqueness found in embracing one’s self as they are, she incorporates fabric & recycled materials from an organic perspective to weave positive messages of diversity & self empowerment.

Mixed Media Collage Demonstration
Mixed Media and watercolor artist Mary Rose Janya will demonstrate mixed media collage using liquid acrylics, decorative rice paper, and other textured materials. Supplies will be provided for you to make your own mixed media collage.
Mary Rose is inspired by the natural world and enjoys finding organic forms in these abstract textures. She has participated in many workshops using these techniques. Be inspired and take home your very own masterpiece!

Copper Work - Chasing & Repousse
Accomplished coppersmith Anne Jordan, will demonstrate the techniques of chasing and repousse on copper vessels. Anne is inspired by nature and the inherent properties of copper. She enjoys the challenge of forming hard copper into delicate, fluid, lifelike objects resembling plants & animals. Her favorite subjects are flowers, sea life, suns & moons. Each piece is hand hammered with no molds used to create them. She is constantly experimenting with creative ways to add texture & color to copper.

Wood fired Stoneware & Porcelain
Demonstration : Ceramic Animal Rattles
Ceramic Artist & Instructor, Stephen Lally, will demonstrate how to make ceramic animal rattles. He will provide clay for those who would like to make one at home then bring it back for him to fire for free. Stephen’s work grows out of the blended traditions of functional pottery from England & Japan. His works are meant to be used, not just set up on a shelf. He strives to create works that are more than merely functional. They explore the visual & textural landscape of sculpture & nature and connect with the user.
