The Independent Shakespeare Co. presents the 2021 Griffith Park Free Shakespeare Festival and "The Tempest." Running August 7th-September 5.  It may look a little different this year, but it’s time to grab your loved ones by the hand and meet us in the park for a joyful reunion. It’s five weeks of Shakespeare, special events, and community. Join for Los Feliz Night on 8/29!
  • Reservations open at 10:00 am SEVEN DAYS in advance of the performance date. They will stay open until the performance is fully booked. (For example, if you would like to come to the show on Saturday, August 7 you will be able to reserve your spot starting at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 31.)

  • Bookings are made online here.

  • 70 pods are available for reservation at each performance. Each pod will comfortably seat 4 adults. A seating chart is posted on the reservations site.

  • Seating is extremely limited, walk-ups may not be accommodated. If possible, please reserve in advance.

Neighborhood Councils are an important way to give your local community a voice. By engaging with your Neighborhood Council as a Youth Representative with the Los Feliz Neighborhood Council, you can:
 
• Improve the quality of life in our community,
•  Represent your neighborhood at City Hall,
*  Monitor the delivery of city services,
•  Partner with city departments such as Transportation, Planning, Street Services, Police and Fire to prioritize local projects and work to resolve public safety issues.

SHARE YOUR INPUT AT DISTRICT 4'S UPCOMING REDISTRICTING FORUM

The LA City Council Redistricting Commission (LACCRC) is hosting a virtual forum for District 4 on Wednesday, August 4th @ 6pm -- register for the hearing HERE to learn more and share input on this once-a-decade process to redraw Council district lines.

To find out more about the redistricting process prior to the event, LACCRC  has relaunched its website with information such as proposed district maps, the most recent redistricting report, and timelines. The LFNC is monitoring updates from the Mayor's office and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. We are confident that working together to ensure the health of our community will allow us to return to business as usual in a timely fashion.
