SAVE THE DATE: World Overdose Poisoning Awareness Day | August 31 from 10AM-4PM

No more stigma, no more shame! In honour of International Overdose Awareness Day on August 31st, Krasman Centre invites you to attend our virtual memorial and day of education and action event to stand in solidarity and strength to remember the lives lost from a drug overdose.
  • We aim to amplify the voices of people who use drugs (PWUD)
  • Raise awareness about overdose prevention
  • Reduce the stigma that surrounds drug-related deaths
  • We demand an end to the racist and oppressive and failed ‘war on drugs.’
Krasman Centre is proud to be an organization that centers its work around harm reduction policy and practice. Help support this cause, register here>>

The street drug supply is increasingly dangerous & unpredictable

In recent news, the Toronto street drug supply has been tested and reported to have extremely strong synthetic opiates.

Here are some ways to stay safe:

1) Don't Use Alone - Call the Safer Use Peer Support Line at 1-888-233-5633 from 8PM-1AM. A peer supporter with lived experience with drug use will support you over the phone to use more safely and call emergency services if needed.

2) Carry Naloxone - even if you are uncomfortable using it, yet, it could save a life! We offer naloxone kits and training, harm reduction kits, safer injection kit (long and short), safer crack smoking kit, safer meth smoking kit, biohazard disposal units available at our centres in Alliston, Newmarket and Richmond Hill
