The first "Official Coxes Ledge Trip of 2021" is in the books and quite a success!

That is Dalton above with the best cod of the day. We ended up with everyone going home with 2 or three cod and a sea bass limit.

For awhile, they were spilling onto the deck faster than I could cut them! John, Nik, DJ, Nick, Dalton and Smiley enjoyed a non stop bite and a "whale show" to boot!

In the past week there have been "EPIC, Lights Out Jumbo Sea Bass" days and stripers in the river as well. On Sunday, Dave had a Monsta Scup in The River that he entered in The State Derby and it should take over the leader board for The "C+R" Division at 16 1/3 inches. The last scup Dalton had today was just over 16.5 but it ended up in the box.

So, for the rest of the month of August, as you know there is OPEN BOAT (by reservation only) on Tuesday (6am-1pm Coxes Ledge at $175/person) and Thursday (7am-noon local sea bass and stripers if all goes well at $125/person) mornings for which there are the following openings:
08/05 (2 spots), 08/10 (full), 08/12 (full), 08/17 (full), 08/19 (4 spots), 08/24 (2 spots), 08/26 (4 spots), 08/27 (full) and 08/31 (full).

Please note that I "will try" to add some more Coxes Trips to the schedule, perhaps in September when the local fishing calms down a bit and the state closes the sea bass season (after 09/08).
