Welcome to our Summer 2021 training cohort

During this exhausting pandemic, we've opened our second kitchen and started serving meals for folks experiencing hunger. With more space and more food, we're able to host up to eight paid Apprentices, at our social enterprise restaurant at Manny's and our community meals kitchen at Refettorio SF.
Apprentices are paid for every hour of on-the-job training including garden shifts, wellness circles, and hard skills classes. Our trainees are crucial team members for Farming Hope's triple impact: job training (16 Apprentices in 2021), nourishing free meals for neighbors experiencing hunger (60,000 meals this year), and food recovery to prevent waste (10,000 pounds of waste diverted this year). Get tickets to our annual fundraiser! In celebration of our Italian connection through Refettorio San Francisco and Chef Massimo Bottura, we are calling our annual event "Festa." Buy tickets below and join us for food from our favorite guest chefs, music by past graduates, and fundraising support for our Apprentices and community meal guests. We know the news is bad right now, but hope leads us to believe gathering will be much safer in November, and we will add virtual or outdoor components as needed.

Is your organization hosting an event this fall? Consider renting our beautiful space at Refettorio SF for your holiday party, fundraiser, or work gathering. We're located in the heart of San Francisco near City Hall, in a stunning space with room for up to 160 people. Every event hosted here directly supports our mission financially, and adds paid training hours and new experiences for our Apprentices.
