What a joy! We saw 5 candidates confess their faith in Jesus Christ and be baptized on Sunday! Follow the link to watch them be buried in the likeness of His death; raised in the likeness of His resurrection.

- Saturday, August 7th is church workday- see Dave Shaver for how to help!
- Sunday, August 8th there is a deacon's meeting at 5:30 pm.
- Sunday, August 8th we will be having a Deacon Ordination during our regular evening worship service. We would like to encourage you all to please be in attendance for this special ceremony. Childcare will be provided.
- Thursday, August 12th we will hold the Dave Peel blood drive from 2-7 pm. Please consider donating blood as the Red Cross is in a severe shortage at this time.
- The playground is scheduled to begin being installed on August 16th.
- Mark your calendars! The quarterly business meeting on Wednesday, August 18th, and church-wide potluck beginning at 5:30 pm.
- AWANA training will be held on August 22nd and 29th.

Prayer Requests
- Praise to the Lord for the five Baptisms we witnessed this past Sunday!
- Praise to the Lord for the four new members who joined the church along with the five Baptisms, nine new members!
- Pray for the sanctity of life to be realized and stop the shedding of innocent blood.
- Pray for recognizing and being vocal about immorality in our nation.
- Pray to stop the evil that is trying to divide this nation.
- Prayer for the hungry, the homeless, and those in need of help.
- Pray for those in depression and dealing with mental illness.
- Pray for God to continue to bless our church and make it a force to glorify Him.
- Pray for Awana.
- Pray for Linda Schmitt's friend, Tom Jones, his daughter has renal failure. She needs a kidney, Tom is getting tested to see if he is a match. Please pray for this family.
- Pray for Kathleen Davis' coworker, Leah Raines whose brother passed away on his 30th birthday. Please pray for comfort and peace for this family and their friends.
- Pray for the victims of the drunk driving accident in Fairfield Harbor Saturday. Kathleen is asking we pray Please pray for the ladies and young men to recover fully from their injuries and that Tori will awaken soon so she can be taken off life support for a positive reason.
- Pray for traveling mercies for Bonnie Whiting and Noah as they travel to WV.
- Please continue to pray for our members whom we have been separated from for so long now. Ask God to place it in their heart that we miss them and love them dearly and to know that they are constantly in our thoughts and prayers.
- Please continue to pray for the Young's son Bryan, as well as many in our Military who may have very difficult decisions ahead based on guidance from our country’s leaders. May they seek the Lord’s wisdom, guidance, and peace in the days, weeks, and months ahead.
- Pray for our great-niece Bella, who is only 6 years old. Her mother and father are not together and she is being raised in a less than the favorable environment. Pray that situation improves.
