Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sponsoring! Your life-changing gift will affect the lives of others for years to come. I will be in Tanzania in early November and want to give you plenty of time to write a short letter to the child or children you sponsor. If you mail the note to me in October, or sooner if you prefer (see details below), I will hand-deliver it, saving you international postage. Of course, you should feel no pressure to write. We respect whatever level of contact you wish to have with your sponsored child.
If you are inclined to write, I want you to know how much letters mean to your sponsored child's life. Your words of support, love, and encouragement make them feel valued. I have seen the excitement on the children's faces when they open their letters and believe this connection is motivating to them.
Please print or type your message so it's easy for the children to read. Feel free to keep it brief and enclose photos if you wish. Place your note and/or photos in an inside envelope with your child's name on it. Then enclose it in a larger envelope and send to:
