4 Season Fused Glass Lantern
with Diane Enger
Saturday, August 28th, 10 to 4
$50 for AGS members, $60 for nonmembers
plus $30 materials fee, includes lantern, LED candle, glass, tools needed and firing
Minimum of 3 students, maximum of 6 students
In this class we will be using a variety of glasses and creating four panels of glass that depict the 4 seasons of the year and fit these panels into a metal lantern. The lantern is 17 inches tall by 6 inches wide and comes with a LED candle that fits right in. Using the season theme and a variety of glasses, everyone’s glass panels will be unique. Your lantern will be a true “work of art” upon completion and will withstand the test of time.
This class is for beginners and intermediates. It will give the students an overview of the glass fusing process and an understanding of what is involved. You will gain a knowledge of types of glasses used in fusing. Most of the glass is precut with just minimal adjusting needed.
*CDC guidelines are observed. You can bring a bag lunch and drink or take a break and get lunch at nearby eateries
