It's been a busy summer and All In Sport Consulting is proud and excited to unveil our NEW brand! In addition to updated logos, our new branding includes a redesign of the websites for both All In Sport Consulting and Adapted Sport LABS and our e-newsletter (maybe you noticed?). The new brand was designed to reflect the three strong tenets that guide us - inclusion, extending our reach, and forward movement. These tenets are represented by the three elements and colors integrated into both the All In Sport and LABS logos.
In addition to our new brand, we're also announcing that registration for LABS 2021 is NOW OPEN. We are incredibly excited to share that our keynote for October 20 is Sam Schmidt of ARROW McLaren SP. As a quadriplegic from an IndyCar accident in 2000, Sam has pushed technology to the extreme where he's driven 200+ mph using various technology to steer, accelerate, and brake. He will share his insight on how advances in technology, his continued curiosity, and vision can push conversations forward and elevate sport opportunities for the disabled. Sam joins Caroline Casey, Founder & Creator of The Valuable 500, who is our keynote speaker for Oct. 21. Check out all the LABS details below and REGISTER TODAY!
We're revisiting last month's blog post with a reflection on the progress we're all working towards in creating access and equal opportunities for all, including elite athletes. There's still work to do!
It's likely no surprise that this month's Industry RoundUP is chock-full of all the excitement building for the Paralympic Games as we gear up for amazing competition starting August 24 and the most TV coverage to date in the U.S. Enjoy the Games!

Reflecting on Disability Pride Month |
I thought it was both unfortunate and ironic that Team USA Paralympic swimmer Becca Meyers withdrew from the Tokyo Games last month after her request to bring her mom to the Games as her personal care assistant (PCA). So much for Disability Pride Month! I know there are two sides to every story, but I was disappointed that leadership at the USOPC and the Tokyo Paralympic Organizing Committee were not able to come to a decision that would allow Becca to have the support she requested and needed to perform at her best in Tokyo. This NY Times article highlights continued gaps in supporting elite athletes with disabilities.
As we shared in last month's blog post, "Disability Pride Then and Now," the recent situation surrounding Becca's desire to compete at the highest level while leaders and advocates fell short in adapting to and providing appropriate and reasonable accommodations for her illustrates how far we still have to go in regard to access and equal opportunity.
I firmly believe that disability sport requires a mix of compassion, perspective, and advocacy in its leadership.
