Helping Hands - Saturday - August 7th
Sign up to volunteer: https://www.gracelifefamily.org/hhvolunteer
Our Annual Helping Hands event is coming up on August 7! Helping Hands is offered to the community to help supplement needs for the school year and home supplies. If you would like to volunteer just show up and we will find a place for you! Some of the ladies at GraceLife came by this morning to start getting us organized!
1 Peter 1:3

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy, he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead"

The unique claim of Christianity is that Jesus, the author, and finisher of our faith, is not dead. No other religion or belief system has a powerful claim such as this. Indeed no other religion has a foundation of hope for eternity. Many times our focus for salvation is a destination, Heaven or Hell; more profound than that, it is salvation into a relationship. A relationship that should not be put off until a distant date but one that can be experienced right now. In a relationship with Jesus, our eyes are opened to the sovereignty of God and how He is working in the world. When we see His great mercies, we have but one response, praise. I pray your eyes are open this week, and we all can come Sunday full of reasons to praise God for all the great things He has done, is doing, and will do. Here are songs we will be singing this Sunday.

Great Things
Living Hope
You Deserve It All

Happy Thursday GraceLife Family!

I am thankful to be spending this week at the Skycroft Conference center with 17 of our 4th and 5th graders and chaperones! Thank you for continuing to pray for us this week. Camp can be a life changing week for those who attend! I wanted to write with a few important dates coming up. First, promotion Sunday will be Sunday, August 15. This means that all of our preschoolers, elementary students and youth will be advancing to the next grade level on that morning. More information will be coming early next week about this. Awana will kick off with a carnival on Wednesday night, August 25 at 6:30 – mark your calendars now! There are still a few opportunities for you to plug in and serve in Awana! See me if you would like more information!  I will look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday! — Pastor Dave

If you’re like me, waiting isn’t your favorite thing to do. Whether it’s our culture, social media, technology, or some combination of all of it, we’re never happy when we have to wait for things. This article from Rooted Ministry reminds us that waiting is an important part of life, both the material and the spiritual. In fact, waiting in the right way develops the character of God in us in a way that we can’t get without having to wait. I’m praying for you and your family this week! — Pastor Jonathan

Who doesn’t love a good picnic? We are excited for yet another annual GraceLife picnic which will also honor Pastor Tim and Dawn, bringing light to God’s faithfulness to our church family. Save this important date and plan to join us Sunday, August 29th, after church beginning at 3pm as we celebrate together with our families. This picnic won't be like any other picnic we've ever had so you won't want to miss it!
