In the last 3 months Mudfish No Plastic have been going strong! This is what we've been up to...

294 children taught!

17 workshops delivered!

16 teachers trained!

13 rubbish bins placed!

205 reusable bottles and 47 tote bags donated!
We delivered workshops to local children at Amed beach, performing arts school Sanggar Paripurna, and at our local village Tengulak Tengah where the MUDFISH headquarters are located. These are just some of the areas in Bali we have travelled to over the past 3 months to deliver our educational program!
Say hello to our NEW educators at Mudfish No Plastic!

Amidst the workshops we have been delivering, Mudfish No Plastic are excited to announce that we have started our goal of expanding our team of educators who will teach our educational curriculum. More educators will allow us to offer our workshops to even more children! Pictured below are our three new educators Ayu, Komang, and Yanti!
Our educators have been in teacher training and assisting with the delivery of our workshops, but due to COVID restrictions currently limiting our capabilities, in the meantime our educators are in charge of the tasks to:
  • Record and report on waste disposal and sorting behaviour of households for our waste management study project in Tengulak Tengah
  • Coordinate weekly clean-ups in the village of Tengkulak Tengah with the community
Donate to support our teachers!

Teacher training with East Bali Poverty Project

Speaking of new educators... in June Mudfish No Plastic collaborated with the East Bali Poverty Project (EBPP), where we provided training to 13 teachers of the 6 EEPB schools located in rural areas of east Bali. We shared with them how to teach their students about plastic pollution through our creative and educational curriculum, and donated our reusable bottles to each teacher and their students!

As a result of this collaboration, we now have 13 external teachers who will spread our message to say no to single-use plastic to hundreds of students!
EBPP is an NGO dedicated to eliminating abject poverty for thousands of people living in East Bali. Amongst their various programmes, they also prioritise the education of local children to inspire and empower them to lead their communities to a better future, which really resonated with our mission at Mudfish No Plastic.
We want to thank all of you for your support, especially during these difficult times. Although the enforcement of COVID restrictions in July meant that we had to stop delivering our workshops for the time being, we're proud of how much we've been able to accomplish. It's all thanks to YOU, our supporters!
You helped us teach more local children about the dangers of plastic and pollution, and provided them with the practical solutions to replace single-use items.

But there are still many communities without the access, opportunity and the means to receive this much needed environmental education and their practical solutions.

We rely on your donations to continue running our workshops consistently.

Every contribution you make goes towards educating and empowering more local children and their communities to make responsible decisions and prevent more waste from ending up in our environment.
