Hello, my WORK friends!
I'm working on an exciting new project and I want to tell you all about it. Over the past month I have become a part of the "Moonshot Team" leading the preparation of a complex grant application to win a ONE MILLION DOLLAR grant that would fund us to be a pilot city for the new Cool City Challenge rolling out in 2022. Petaluma has a VERY good change of winning this grant and we are super excited about the content of this program and the opportunity to be on the leading edge of positive change.
Not only am I on the Moonshot Team, but I have signed WORK Petaluma up as a Community Partner. That means I need YOU, our Petaluma-based WORK community, to jump on board and become Cool Block Leaders. :) I promise it will be fun and satisfying and worth your while!
To tell you all about it, I am hosting a 1.5 hour information session next week. Here are the details:
WHAT: Cool Block Information Meeting
WHEN: Thursday, August 12 from 5:00-6:30 PM
WHERE: Good old Zoom ;) Use this link.
WHY: To learn about the Cool Block program to create a more planet-friendly, disaster-resilient, and community-rich block and consider becoming a block leader.
WHO: Anyone who lives in Petaluma (It's okay if you are outside City limits)
