Headlines
Nurse Shifts Available

There is high demand for nurse appointments in the Extended Access hubs and because of this we are seeking to increase our nursing workforce.  If you are a registered nurse and are interested in picking up some additional hours within the Extended Access Service please contact Lindsay.Andrews-Barber@nhs.net for more information.
COVID-19 testing

Reminder to team members of the need for us to continue to stay alert to restrict the spread of COVID-19. As part of this it is important that we take a PCR tests if we have any symptoms. At the same time you can also now use lateral-flow test to regularly test yourself if you don't have symptoms - this is particularly important for those in clinical or patient-facing roles.
Team Updates
PCS Team - Engagement / Feedback Group – “You said – We did”

The goal of the Engagement / Feedback Group is to ensure everyone at PCS has a voice that is listened to and acted upon. The group meets monthly and discuss a specific area. From the views heard, we seek ways we can deliver against your feedback and requests.

Please see below a summary of the areas we have addressed over the last six months, as you can see strong steps forward have been made.

That said, our goal is continual improvement. In order to continue to represent from across PCS we would welcome some more volunteers (especially from Clover). The only commitment is to attend the monthly call for an hour when you are able. If you are interested or would like to know more, please email neil.cormack@nhs.net.

Round 42... The Chain!

We thought ‘The Chain’ would be a fun way to help us all keep in touch and to find out more about different parts of the organisation. Each week a team member will answer three questions and then gets to choose who will be asked the same questions next.

Last week:
Donna Sleight, CASES Admin
This week: Dr Andy McCoye, Clinical Lead Extended Access
