Back-to-school at Crosspoint Church also means the return of our annual missions support project - Backpacks for Honduras. This effort is done each year in partnership with Sowers 4 Pastors in Honduras to help kids be able to attend school.
Last year, Crosspoint returned 120 filled backpacks. This year, Sowers 4 Pastors provided 168 backpacks to fill as needs have increased, especially after Honduras was hit by - not just one but - two hurricanes in November 2020.
These will be available to pick up at the church on Sundays. The last day to turn in your filled backpack is Sunday, September 12.

Women's night of popcorn, movie and laughter set
Ladies, mark your calendars for a night of fun and laughter at "Popcorn & Movie with Sisters" from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 14.
Registration is open for the event, which includes child care, if needed.
The featured movie will be the faith-based comedy "Love Different," and the night will include a lineup for movie snacks.
Admission for the event will be one package of a feminine hygiene product to go to Crosspoint Women's That Time Ministry. This ministry was recently started as a partnership with local schools that have identified an issue of young girls not going to school because they cannot afford the products each month.
After an active fun-packed summer, Crosspoint Youth will be kicking off the 2021-2022 school year on Sunday evening at 5 p.m. Take a look at some of the most recent activities in a summer wrap-up video.
