Saturday Chicken Barbecue to Benefit Guild
The Thompson Health Guild is hosting a chicken barbecue on Saturday, Aug. 7, to raise proceeds for its programs within UR Medicine Thompson Health.
Meals are $12 apiece and will be available from 11 a.m. until sold out in the parking lot of Runnings, 3191 County Road 10 in Canandaigua. Tickets are available online, at www.ThompsonHealth.com/BBQ. They are also available from any Guild board member and from the Guild Gallery Gift Shop at Thompson Hospital, 350 Parrish St. in Canandaigua.
All pre-orders must be picked up no later than 2 p.m. Cash or checks will be accepted from those purchasing the meals in person.
Thompson Doctors Continue Urging Public to Get Vaccinated
A number of UR Medicine Thompson Health doctors are appearing in a series of videos urging community members to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Squash or Zucchini?
All zucchini is squash; but not all squash is zucchini. In fact yellow squash, although it looks pretty close, is actually a different variety of squash.
