It's time for some vintage films!
We have quite the collection of old American films that are in the public domain. Occasionally, we like to dust them off & give them some life on TV. This week, we're featuring 2 from our collection, playing in the Arts & Culture timeslots on the Community channel (check the weekly grid for times):
1) House on Haunted Hill (1959) is a supernatural horror story, is a 1959 American supernatural horror story starring Vincent Price & Carol Ohmart.
2) Lady Gangster (1942) is a crime film starring Faye Emerson as a member of a gang of bank robbers.

Every year, we've worked with Ms. Baitz's 6th grade class at Ludlow Elementary School. Her classes have produced a number of different creations of their own over the years. They created 2 separate video projects this past Spring - and this wee, we are premiering the 2nd of these, which is students reciting their own poems. The 7 min, compilation is playing throughout the week in our school programming timeslots on the Education channel.
This week, we're also featuring a class project from 2014, which took a look back at Tropical Storm Irene & its impact on the local community, featuring reflections from a number of different community members. Our Community's Perspective on Irene, produced by the LES 6th grade class of 2014.

Your local government in action...
Stay informed & catch your local government in action.
Pur "gavel-to-gavel" coverage of local meetings plays daily on the Ed / Gov’t channel. We cover an average of 15 local meetings per month. In addition, we carry a handful local meetings recorded by our colleagues at neighboring stations and a few from State government agencies, such as the newly-formed Cannabis Control Board. Check for the daily playback schedule of "gavel-to-gavel" coverage to find out when meetings play and which ones play on which days!

DIGITAL MEDIA SUMMER CAMP
|
|
It's a wrap! on our digital media making camp. Over the past 7-weeks, we had a lot of fun getting iPhones, GoPros, & drones into the hands of the campers and watching them film their world. On the last day we hosted a screening of their work. But that's not all! We'll be putting together several fun, short videos from all of this footage...so stay tuned to Okemo Valley TV!
Thank you to the TRSU Go Wild Camp for supporting our efforts and our aerial video instructors licensed pilots Wendy & Stefan from Red Vault Productions.
