2021 Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council Awards
There are so many talented people working in our profession who are worthy of recognition. Please take a few minutes to nominate a deserving individual or organization for one of the following PPGC awards.
Award nominations are open until August 31, 2021. Awardees will be recognized at the EPC Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.

The Allied Professional Award
This award honors an individual, organization or group from the tri-state area who is deserving of recognition for their efforts to advance charitable gift planning and philanthropy. The successful nominee will be an allied professional(s) (e.g., attorney, stock broker, insurance or real estate professional, certified public accountant, certified financial planner, marketing company, consultant) who has made significant contributions to PPGC through one or more of the following efforts:
support for events and conferences that present issues and trends in the area of charitable gift planning
contributions to the field’s knowledge base through development and sharing of professional resources, including further education in charitable gift planning
mentorship (formal or informal) that supports individual growth and expanded opportunities
promotion and advocacy for expanding charitable gift planning opportunities
service to the gift planning field
The PPGC Excellence Award
This award honors a program, service or initiative that demonstrates excellence and innovation in the field of charitable gift planning and philanthropy. The successful nominee (which can be an individual, team or organization) will demonstrate creativity, leadership, innovation and/or efficiency in the development of a new or improved program, service or initiative. Results of these efforts serve as a standard for others and have lasting value for the charitable gift planning field. Examples include, but are not limited to:
best of class institutional gift planning programs
educational, awareness and advocacy efforts
gift planning standards, articles, model documents or best practices
marketing campaigns
commitment to growing equity, diversity and inclusion within the charitable gift planning profession
