The purpose of PFDD meetings is to help ensure that patients’ experiences, perspectives, needs, and priorities are represented in the drug development process. As new treatment options are developed for food allergy, it is important that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other key stakeholders – including medical product developers, health care providers, and federal partners – hear directly from patients, their families, caregivers, and patient advocates.
This meeting will give people the chance to share their experiences managing and treating food allergy with FDA representatives. Watch the live stream on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, at anytime from 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. ET to hear other families' experiences and to comment with your own story!
This meeting is an externally-led PFDD meeting, hosted by patient advocacy groups, not the FDA
