The fall term gets underway tomorrow! If you have a class starting on Sept. 2, you should have received an email at your university email account with class access instructions from Online Course Support. You can access classes in Canvas at https://uws.instructure.com/, using your university credentials to log in. If you have trouble logging in or have other technical questions, contact bizhelp@uwec.edu. Below is some important information to help get your semester off to a good start.

Code of Conduct
Before viewing content in classes, you will need to agree to the Student Code of Conduct in every course. When you first access your course, you'll see a note at the top of the page about completing the Code of Conduct. Once you agree, your course's content will be revealed. Please read the Code carefully, and contact bizhelp@uwec.edu if you have any questions.

Checking emails
Checking your university email account regularly is extremely important. Most communications we send that are related to your academic record, billing, financial aid, and courses will come to your university email account. If you have a smartphone, you can configure it to receive email automatically so it's easier to check. Here are instructions for UW MBA Consortium students who have a UW-Eau Claire email account. Consortium students - We know our students are busy and have a lot going on. Welcome new students!
A special welcome to our newest UW MBA Consortium students. In Fall 2021, we're welcoming 50 students while 26 began their MBA journey in Summer 2021. Nearly 320 students are taking classes this fall, which is the most students we've had in a single term in the history of the program.

Congratulations!
On August 25, two UW MBA Consortium faculty/staff members were presented with 2021 UW-Eau Claire College of Business Employee Recognition Awards. Shown in the photo, left to right, are:
Dr. Tim Vaughan, who teaches MBA 702, won the Creativity & Innovation Award, which recognizes creative ideas that improved the college and made UW-Eau Claire a better place for students, faculty, or staff.
Dr. Paula Lentz, who teaches MBA 701 and is the MBA Academic Director, won the Coaching Award, which recognizes someone who improved the performance of students, faculty, and staff through effective guidance, advising, or mentoring.
Dr. K. Brewer Doran is the UW-Eau Claire College of Business Dean.
