Annual Appeal Starts
|
|
The West Woodland Annual Appeal is our primary fundraiser and the PTA hopes to raise the vast majority of the budget through this direct appeal event. The bulk of the funds collected are used to fund the instructional grant that the PTA provides back to the school. Our instructional grant ensures that we have support services for all students including academic intervention and counseling support. Our Annual Appeal Campaign will kick off on curriculum night, September 29. Much more information will be coming!

Get Ready for the School Year
Volunteering
|
|
Essential Volunteers may be able to volunteer in person at school at the discretion of school leaders and will be recruited by the school administration. In addition to the usual volunteer compliance standards, volunteers will also be required to complete a COVID video training and follow health and safety protocols. In order to reduce risk to students, ALL volunteers will be required to be fully vaccinated with proof of vaccination.
The school will reach out if and when volunteers are needed. Have your paperwork in order and be ready for the call.
You can prepare by checking your volunteer status or submitting your application to volunteer now!
- To check your status click here and be sure to review the FAQ page to help with interpreting your volunteer status.
- To renew your application go here.
- If you would like to apply to volunteer with SPS for the first time, please click here.
If you have any questions about volunteer compliance, please contact Brandi Mattila at blmattila@seattleschools.org
