Spring is finally here

Spring is a beautiful time of the year, it makes you feel alive, ready to experience the fresh air and be witness to new seasonal growth.

Wildlife is plentiful & playful, this is the time when Kangaroos start to box and become more active. Birds sing and skip nimbly on the forest floor enthusiastically as if celebrating the new growth and blossoms, while gobbling up grubs and seeds. This is when flowering trees start to bloom.

Springtime in Bullarto is a time for nature to say “Lets Party” Spring adds new life to all of our plants & animals. Dormant trees start sprouting new leaves. It is such a refreshing time, and the warm sunshine starts to melt the Winter blues away.

Colourful bulbs are popping up & it’s our time to begin replanting in the garden.

Vegetable seedlings are being sowed & planted, a burst of sunshine will see the garden grow rapidly & grass starting to grow vigorously. This is the time when the kitchen garden is sown, the soil is warming up and there is more daylight hours. Refreshing Spring showers encourages everything to quickly burst into action, and the leafy greens begin to take over.

The walking tracks are also given a 'refresh', and walkers can surround themselves in the forest's Spring vitality and new growth.
