- Determination of the regular season (For information)
As the remaining regular season matches can’t be played due to the Public Health Order, these matches are now declared one all draws, as per the competition rules. This enables four finalists for 2021 to be declared:
- First grade: Coffs United, Coffs Tigers, Boambee and Port United.
- Reserve grade: Coffs United, Northern Storm, Port Saints and Port United.
- Semi finals for 18 September 2021 (For information)
If the lockdown lifts at midnight on Friday, 10 September 2021, it means football can be played from the following day, Saturday, 11 September 2021. However, senior teams will need a week to prepare for finals meaning the semi finals will occur on Saturday, 18 September 2021 and the Grand Finals at C.ex Coffs International Stadium on Saturday, 25 September 2021. The schedule is as follows:
18 September 2021
First Grade
Coffs United (1) v Port United (4) at Forsyth Park (6 pm TBC)
Coffs Tigers (2) v Boambee (3) at Polwarth Drive (3 pm TBC)
Reserve Grade
Coffs United (1) v Port United (4) at Forsyth Park (4 pm TBC)
Northern Storm (2) v Port Saints (3) at Polwarth Drive (1 pm TBC)
25 September 2021
First grade: Winner of 1 v 4 and 2 v 3 (7 pm TBC) at C.ex Coffs International Stadium
Reserve Grade: Winner of 1 v 4 and 2 v 3 (4.45 pm TBC) at C.ex Coffs International Stadium
In the event the final series can’t be held in September, we will consider holding the finals over to October.
- Public statement on the end to the season (for information)
A public statement will be issued at 6 pm Monday 30 August 2021 under embargo until 5 am Tuesday, 31 August 2021 enabling you to communicate with your participants before the news is public. A copy is here (link) and will also be on the website, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
