This is your Monday order reminder. Please let us know what you'd like by 5pm today for a Tuesday delivery.
A note on basil: If you're hoping to make pesto, now is the time to order! Basil is very cold sensitive and as we head into September, frost becomes more likely.
We have lots of tomatoes! Varieties include:
- Tomimuro Muchoo- medium, round, pink, sweet Japanese variety
- Kakao- medium, reddish brown, round, sweet Japanese variety
- Black Krim- large, pink with green shoulders, complex flavor
- Classic red slicers
- Cocktail tomatoes- larger than a cherry up to golf-ball size
What's in season
- Tomatoes- $2.50/lb
- Basil- $10/lb, $9/lb over 3 lbs
- Zucchini- $1.50/lb
- Assorted small hot peppers including jalapeno, serrano, Hungarian Hot Wax- 5/$1, or $2.50/lb over 5 lbs. Limited availability.
- Herbs including shiso and parsley- $1/bunch
- Beets- limited, this week only- $4.50/bunch
- Kale- $2.50/bunch
- Chard- $3.50/bunch
