What's Up In The Hub?

Welcome to Fall 2021
Hello everyone!

For all new faculty teaching for the first time this fall, welcome! For all returning faculty, welcome back!

The Hub team has a great lineup of resources and support available to help you launch your courses and prepare your teaching setup using Moodle and Zoom. Unless you have been specifically assigned to teach in-person courses, you will be beginning the semester teaching virtually or fully online using Moodle and Zoom as your connection with students. If you would like more information about delivery modes, please connect with your Chair or Dean to confirm.

For those who may be teaching in Flex classrooms later in the semester, you can connect with Chris and Rob in the Hub for a "Teaching With Technology" walkthrough beginning in the second week of classes.

Whatever mode you’re in, the Hub team can help you get rolling. There are a variety of startup resources listed below and I encourage you to explore the Hub Teaching Website for more opportunities to create active learning in your courses.

Please review the Contact section below for more information about team members and how we can help you launch a successful semester. All the best as you start out. We are here for you throughout the year if you have a question or just want to talk about teaching.

Happy startup!

~ Jenni, Sarah, Mel, Chris, Krista, Rob, Jeff, Alison, Ali, Jade, and Jupsimar
