AGM & Drinks Reception 01 October 2021

We are holding a proper, in-person, annual general meeting (AGM) this year, followed by a Drinks Reception.

This year the AGM will be held 4 pm-6 pm Friday 01 October 2021 at the RMYC, Edinburgh Suite. The Drinks Reception will start immediately after the end of the meeting.

All SCG members are encouraged to attend the meeting and the Drinks Reception (but feel free to attend the latter even if you can't make the former). The Drinks Reception will be held on the Gun Deck, weather permitting or, if not, in the Edinburgh Suite.

We will be joined by our Ward Councillors May Haines & Mohan Iyengar, Sophie Sajic, Head of BCP Seasonal Response and Sgt Sophie Williams, head of our local Neighbourhood Policing Team for a discussion on BCP's 'Summer Readiness' - what went well and what needs improvement for next year?

• A special report on the five-year battle over plans to demolish the Haven Hotel and replace it with blocks of flats
• An introduction to SCG's response to BCP's consultation on 'Seafront Strategy" that could shape the future of SB
• re-election of existing Committee members who have resigned by rotation and election of new  Committee members
