NEME News

August 2021
Check out this video of a NEME webinar from June of 2020 that is still an important conversation today. What should we expect if Israel formally annexes large parts of the West Bank? Is this something American Christians, including Evangelicals, should support? Host Bruce Fisk and a panel of experts (Rev. Dr. Mae Elise Cannon, Heather Keaney, and Sam Bahour) explore what Israel’s proposed annexation of territory means, what it would change on the ground for Israelis and Palestinians, and why many around the world believe it would undermine the cause of a just peace in the Middle East.

Upcoming Event: NEME Fall Tour
November 2021
Michigan, North Carolina, & Texas

We still have open dates! Get in touch today!

NEME Senior Research Fellow, Dr. Bruce Fisk, will be attending various conferences in the US during the month of November 2021, and he would like to meet you!

In between conference activities, Bruce will host conversations about how American evangelicals can engage on the topic of justice and advocacy in Israel/Palestine and the broader Middle East. During the presentations, you will hear more about thinking biblically and theologically about the Holy Land and ways to engage in theology and advocacy that supports our brothers and sisters in Christ around the Middle East.

In Texas, Bruce will be joined by Rev. Dr. Mae Elise Cannon, executive director of Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP), and Dr. Rob Dalrymple, director of DetermineTruth Ministries.

Read more about the tour here.

If you or your church/organization would be interested in more information on hosting Bruce in one of those regions, please contact Anna at info@neme.network.
