In recent days, a new word has been used to describe someone who has left the evangelical Christian faith: exvangelical. It’s used by those who once professed a faith in Christ but no longer claim to be a Christian. In some cases, these individuals are pastors and ministry leaders. Is this departure from the faith a modern phenomenon or something that we can see throughout the ages? As we wrap up our summer sermon series, Tough Questions, we conclude with the question: Can someone walk away from the faith? I look forward to seeing you this Sunday as we explore what the Bible says about this vital question.
