Rider Spotlight:
Julie Powell
Colorado Springs native, Julie Powell recently won our Strava Challenge, with the fastest climb up Mt. Herman Road – the beginning of Stage 2 leaving from the Town of Monument. Julie grew up near Palmer Park, and from the time when was 12 years old, she would often mountain bike there with her brother.  Watch as shares her insight into competition and how it motivates her.  Take a look!

2021 Course Video from Endurance Camp
Here's a taste of Stage 2 from 2021 APEX Endurance Camp. It was an awesome day in spite of a little rain. The course offered some spectacular views as riders experienced the Monument course, new for 2021. Big thanks to Daniel Matheny for leading the camp and Josh Klute for capturing the drone footage!

Not up for a 4-day MTB challenge? Join us for a fun ride on Saturday. We have something fun for all levels and ages. If you're new to mountain-biking, come out and learn some of the basics. Riders middle school and up will be led by former downhill pros, Bobbie Kae Warner and Lisa Myklak. Families and children up to middle school will be led by PMBIA certified instructors from Kids on Bikes. Learn more.
