Austin Public Library: Survey

Yarborough Library is working on a special community asset mapping project as part of efforts to map the solidarity economy in Austin! Please take a moment to fill out this questionnaire. Community Asset Mapping is a participatory process focused on empowering people to define and map their own assets (strengths, gifts, skills, etc.) within their communities. By mapping the assets with our communities, we can increase the ability of people to share their assets with each other and strengthen our communities collectively.

Collective Campaigns Exploring New Office Space

Member Collective Campaigns is exploring new office space! Collective Campaigns is an exciting member of the Austin co-op community that offers full-service political and nonprofit consulting. They are looking for 1,000-2,000 square feet of space that can accommodate a bullpen for 40+ people as well as 4 smaller general purpose rooms and offices.

Join the Austin Software Co-operative Meetup remotely on September 1st for a book review of "The People's Republic: How the World's Biggest Corporations are Laying the Foundation for Socialism" by Leigh Phillips, Michal Rozworski.

Feel free to read the book before the meetup and share your observations or join the meetup to hear our in-depth review and analysis (no prior experience required).

HOUSING CO-OP DEVELOPMENT SURVEY

Since late 2019 a group of Housing Co-opers formed a Housing Co-op Development Work Group with the goal of coming up with a model for sustainable growth for Housing Co-ops in Austin. We have created a survey to determine how much interest there is in current co-ops and/or the formation of a new co-op. Please fill out the survey if that sounds like something you would be interested in. Additionally, if you would like to join the Working Group please email ryan.nill@acba.coop.
