Foundation Names New Executive Director
The Forest Hills Public Schools Foundation is pleased to welcome Elizabeth Brink as executive director of the Foundation. In addition to her extensive event planning experience, Elizabeth brings established relationships and community connections as she has worked for the FHPS district for nearly a decade leading the district’s communications and public relations initiatives. She resides within the district with her husband and their two sons. Elizabeth has developed positive relationships with all FHPS related entities, school administrators, principals, teachers, and staff. She has strong established relationships within the Kent Intermediate School District, local schools, and School News Network. Through her public relations work, she has a great familiarity with local news media sources and is eager to grow the Foundation's business and organization outreach. All of these networks will be wonderful assets to the Foundation as we seek to expand our FHPS Foundation family. Striving to make a positive difference in the lives of teachers and students, we are certain that our fundraising efforts will continue to grow and thrive with her innovative creativity, energy, commitment, and loyalty to our school district and community at large.
Elizabeth earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Western Michigan University, where she currently serves on the School of Communication’s external advisory committee. She is an active volunteer within the Grand Rapids community, a life-long learner, listener, collaborator, and doer, and is excited to be working alongside the FHPS district to lead fundraising initiatives to support excellence in education.
She may be reached via email, ebrink@fhps.net, and by calling the Foundation office, 616-493-8500.
