National Small Business Week Virtual Summit - Small business owners are invited to attend the National Small Business Week Virtual Summit, hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. September 13 – September 15. Learn about new business strategies, meet other business owners, and chat with industry experts during this three-day online event. The event will include educational webinars, updates on resources for small businesses, and a networking chat room for business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. This year’s free event will spotlight the resilience of America’s entrepreneurs and the renewal of the small business economy as they build back better from the economic crisis brought on by a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic. Yeiser Art Center invites you to join them at YACtoberfest on September 30 thru October 2 at Carson Park. YACtoberfest is a pandemic recovery fundraiser that includes lots of art, music, activities for the kids, food, and more. Paducah-McCracken County Habitat for Humanity’s Bank on Housing Campaign - The Paducah-McCracken County Habitat for Humanity needs your financial support during the “Bank on Housing” campaign which runs the month of October. They need churches, families, individuals, businesses, and organizations to fill a house bank with coins, bills and checks to help Habitat build affordable housing in our community. Habitat will provide the number of cardboard house banks needed for your location. For more information call 270-444-2060. Fill a house bank and change lives.
