Madison Women in Tech Digital Digest

August 24th, 2021
Hi y'all!

We hope everyone is staying healthy and safe. Since August 19th, a mask mandate 😷 as been issued. We will continue planning more future events with some being in-person (encouraging masks) and some being virtual. If there are any changes, updates will be given. If have questions or would like to share any information with us, please feel free to contact us at admin@madisonwomen.tech.

This week on Thursday, August 26, we are holding an in-person outdoor social at Delta Beer Lab 🧪. If you love music, we also heard that there will be an amazing duo playing live music outside on their patio after the event! 🎶

Next month, join us for a pet picnic on Saturday, September 25th at Walnut Grove Dog Park 🐶🍴. You don't need to have a pet to attend - anyone interested in hanging out is welcome to join (we'll also have lawn games!). We've rented out the park shelter, so feel free to bring a snack to share. 😋

In October, we will host an online event called GitHub Tricks and Treats! 🎃👩‍💻 Dress and learn GitHub tricks & treats, just in time for Halloween!

In order to increase health awareness and safety, we will continue to include a list of COVID-19 vaccination options 👩‍⚕️ in our newsletters.

Best of luck to all students this year and stay safe everyone! 🏫

- Pao, Isabel & Hilary
