Dear Kris:
On behalf of the staff and congregation of Camano Chapel, we want thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the 24+ years of faithful service. You have laughed with us, cried with us, nurtured us, challenged us, and taught us the truths of God’s word.
You led us through the building of Saratoga Hall, and we did it debt free. You challenged us to get involved in a Sunday school class, and our Sunday school programs have expanded. You shepherded us through COVID, one of the most difficult periods of our church, and for this we are grateful.
We are excited to see what God has in store for you and Joyce. It is our prayer you will find healing for your health during the next few months of rest and relaxation. I think we know you will never really “retire”. Our hope is that God will lead you in a new ministry in the Stanwood/Camano area so you and Joyce can continue to worship with your Chapel family.
We love you and Joyce, as our pastor, we will miss your faithful teaching, your encouraging way and your leadership. Please know that if there is anything you need, we are here for you. We echo your Camano Chapel family is saying, “Well done, good and faithful servant”!
