Part of every Oasis offering supports the International Mission Board (IMB) of the Southern Baptist Convention. Here's a prayer request for the day from IMB:

Punjabis of Pakistan: (pun-JAH-bees) - The 90 million Punjabi-speaking Muslims are one of the largest unreached groups in the world today. While most of them are in the Punjab province of Pakistan, many live in the large cities and work in the government. Ask God to call men and women to Himself from among the Punjabi Muslims so that they may spread the gospel throughout Pakistan.

If you aren't currently serving on a team, please consider joining our Sound Team. Members of the sound team contribute on a rotating basis to serve the worship team, tech director, and pastors using an iPad from anywhere in the auditorium. We'll provide all the training you need and it's easier than you think. If you're interested, please contact Clayton at cyclingclay@gmail.com. 

One of our sister churches is Rincon Mountain Presbyterian, led by our friend Phil Kruis. This week, Phil asks us to pray for: 1) clarity of vision for our elders as we launch a three-pronged capital campaign this fall for debt reduction, on-site housing for interns and missionaries, and church planting, and 2) for a greater reliance upon God as we lament losses on a global, local and individual basis.
