Hello!

Here's what we're excited about this week:

We've uploaded hundreds of classic articles into the Forum's archives, and we're trying to find ways to share them. Hence, our first "classic repost": Holden Karnofsky's Hits-Based Giving. We'll aim to share these at least weekly.

If you learned about EA in the last few years, many of these posts will be new to you — and they still have a lot of ideas worth hearing. We hope you enjoy!

Best,
The EA Forum Team

We recommend:

  1. Lessons on running student EA groups in Stanford (Kuhan Jeyapragasan) and Manila (Kirsten Angeles)
  2. Examples of Successful Selective Disclosure in the Life Sciences (Tessa Alexanian)
  3. More EAs should consider "non-EA" jobs (Sarah H)
  4. Improving Institutional Decision-Making: A Framework (Ian David Moss)
  5. Are we "trending toward" transformative AI? How would we know? (Holden Karnofsky)
  6. Mental health resources tailored for EAs (Miranda Zhang)

Questions seeking answers:

  1. What are the EA movement's most notable accomplishments? (Aaron Gertler)
  2. 80,000 Hours' podcast on mental health was its most popular ever. What should their guest talk about in his follow-up episode? (Keiran Harris)

We don't have room for every good post. See the All Posts page for more!
