Evening opening hours are back!  Why not check out the new 'listen now' titles on Borrowbox to listen to now the nights are beginning to draw in? There's still time for children to become a Wild World Hero and we have a new online database!
Libraries moving forward
From September 6 many Oxfordshire Libraries extended their opening hours further to include evening times. Events and activities for children and families have been offered in some of our libraries during the summer.  More library events are gradually being introduced and will be advertised locally and in the library. We still need to be careful about audience numbers for everyone’s safety. Please enquire at your local library for more information. Also our popular rhymetimes are gradually coming back!
'Listen now' e-audiobooks on Borrowbox
No waiting for others to finish reading! Everyone can enjoy these amazing titles at the same time. Current choices for adults are from 2 best selling authors, The Foundling by Stacey Halls and  Harlan Coben's Run Away. For children there's Robin Hood Book 1: Hacking, Heists & Flaming Arrows by Robert Muchamore.
Summer Reading Challenge
The official finishing date of the Wild World Heroes Summer Reading Challenge 2021 was September 11. However staff in our libraries are still keen to reward all the children with their medal and certificate for reading over the summer holidays. It's not too late, make that visit now!
British Standards Online - New!
Access to over 40,000 full text current, historic, and draft standards produced by the British Standards Institution (BSI) is now available in all Oxfordshire Libraries. British, European and International standards are included. You will need to use our computers and the subscription allows you to read the standards onscreen.
