Ibrahim’s incredible testimony was compelling not only for Joseph (See last month's update) but also for another young man named Mustafa*, who recently prayed to receive Christ after messaging on Instagram.
Some of our coworkers introduced Ibrahim to Mustafa. Mustafa had fears about how his community would react to his new faith, and had put off making the decision to trust Christ completely for a long time because of that fear. After meeting Ibrahim and hearing how he decided to be bold in following Christ, Mustafa committed himself to the Lord completely. Now, he is learning from Ibrahim and our staff what it means to follow Christ.
Since Ibrahim met Mustafa, they have attended church and prayer meetings together and have become a great encouragement to one another. Ibrahim encourages Mustafa to continue in his new faith, and Mustafa encourages Ibrahim to be bold in sharing his powerful testimony.
“I’m overjoyed! I’m speechless!” Ibrahim said in response to having a deeper community in Christ. “I can’t describe how happy I am.”
