Judy Leistikow (Kim Corwin's Mom) turned 77 on August 24th

Look at that smile! This is after 4 months of radiation treatments combined with chemotherapy pills, a hip replacement, 6 weeks of intravenous antibiotics
and last week her first chemo infusion.  She is an inspiration to me, and she faces it all with a smile.

I want to thank you for the prayers, I DO BELIEVE that her faith and your prayers are making this all possible.   She has 7 more chemo infusions, and we anticipate that those will be completed by Thanksgiving, and then the determination will be made as to whether surgery is still needed.

I am headed "home" to Iowa next week for round 2 of chemo.
Keep those prayers coming.
Thanks, Kim Corwin
Isolation
One of our FELC members has asked Pastor Linda for help breaking up the tedium, loneliness, and boredom of being homebound.

You can help this member by simply making a phone call, sending an email, taking her out for coffee or lunch, or for a short drive (when the weather is a little cooler).

If you would like to reach out, call or text Pastor Linda 401-330-8511, and she will put you in touch.
