The boat's empty: Where is everyone?!

I have to be honest with you. It's going to be a slow climb back into traveling for me personally. During the pandemic, I had a little girl who's now nine-months-old, and I quit my day job to be home with her for now. As kids under two years old have no mask or vaccine protection, it's tough to discern if it's safe at all to bring her places. We've done a couple little adventures, but I'm trying to navigate a new normal just like all of you.

The point is, while thousands of people are with us on the Pure Wander site, reading our past guides and stories...new content right now is a struggle. So if you do plan to travel or simply want to live through our narratives, feel free to 'search' the site for some of your favorite destinations. I bet we've covered it!

Or, did you know we have a map feature on our home page? You can click a country and quickly find all the articles written about the locale. Done and done!

Please stay in touch (seriously, email us whenever you'd like). We appreciate all the support, engagement and love you've left us over the past eight years, and I hope to keep going strong for another eight!

Here's to taking care of ourselves and others,
Eileen & the Pure Wander team

PURE WANDER VIDEO: Florida's Brightline Train
Top pick for traveling with littles: Baby Bjorn

Calling all guardians on the go! We’re sure you already know the importance of having a sturdy baby carrier. The freedom to use your hands while walking around with your baby is essential! My husband liked the Baby Bjorn because it’s fairly breathable and portable. You’ll want a high quality carrier for getting around the airport, train station, you name it, all while rolling your luggage along with you. Again: practice before you go so you kid knows what’s coming and likes to be carried!

Check out the line of Baby Bjorn carriers here!
