I Did a DTS. Now What?
Greetings, Friend!

Many students of YWAM’s Discipleship Training School graduate with a desire to serve full-time in the mission, and YWAM campuses worldwide need people just like them to achieve their mission goals and thrive. MBI brings these two dynamic groups together through our After DTS program.   Read more

New MBI Field Staff Family

Position: Field staff

Mission building began for Jason and Renee Eberly and their four daughters—Aleah, Tori, Mariah, and Reyna—as a volunteer trip to Montana to work with MBI and YWAM Lakeside. Now, several years, numerous volunteer trips, and a YWAM DTS and Uganda outreach later, the Eberlys have joined MBI as field staff.

This tight-knit Pennsylvania family has committed long-term to help YWAM campuses thrive through their example of hard work and loving relationships.

From the Director

Over 2000 years ago, Jesus modeled for us a way to release people to go into all the world and make disciples. First, he invited the disciples to walk with him and observe, to learn from him how he ministered to people. He often paused to teach them along the way. Second, they ministered to people with him, for example, the feeding of the 5,000. Third, he sent them out two by two for a short period, and then when they returned, he debriefed with them what they had learned. Last, they were fully released to go into the nations.

In YWAM’s DTS, we try to follow the first two steps. Students come and learn how to minister to people, and then they come alongside seasoned staff to minister together on international outreach. MBI’s After DTS program allows the third step to happen. We’ve created a way for this generation to “test the waters” of nations or ministries that interest them. Our desire, through this program, is to see many people released into the nations feeling more confident to do all God is asking them to do.

"Love Ya Buddy!"

We are sad to report the passing of a great friend, mentor, and servant's servant to his new residence in Jesus's arms.

Lynn Battermann was the consummate friend to all who knew him. His love of Jesus translated into practical service around the world and here at home.   Read more
