The NSW Government today announced the regional lockdown would continue for another two weeks until midnight Friday, 10 September 2021.
As a result, no football activity can occur - no training, playing, officiating and spectating.
The lockdown will have a significant impact on plans for finals and grand finals.
Grand finals and semi-finals in various competitions are planned for both the weekend the lockdown is scheduled to end and on the weekend after.
The football season traditionally ends before the September school holidays. This year, the term ends on Friday, 17 September 2021.
All four councils in the North Coast Football zone have committed to maintaining fields in readiness for the resumption of community sport.

We have over 5,000 players in more than 300 teams from 25 clubs. Their disappointment is palpable.
The lockdown means there will be no football for three or four weeks depending on the competition before the scheduled lifting of the lockdown.
We will consult with clubs on the feasibility of conducting the final series following the scheduled lifting of the lockdown on Friday, 10 September 2021, and make an announcement as soon as possible.
