Rev. Diane will assume the position at the regularly scheduled August 2021 board meeting. First ordained in 1997, Diane is currently senior minister for Pray Attention alternative ministry. Prior experiences include four years as senior minister at Unity of Naples, Florida, and 12+ years at Unity of Roanoke Valley, Roanoke, Virginia.
She is also the author of an Amazon bestselling book, Pray Attention: 5 Sacred Meditations. Prior to entering ministerial school, Diane worked in theater.
The position became open this June with the resignation of Rev. Paulette Pipe who served as KOF for 8-plus years. An announcement was made of the opening, and applications were accepted thru July 21, 2021. Thirteen people sent in resumes and four individuals were interviewed and reviewed by the Board’s Executive Team in July.
Based on the unanimous recommendation of the Executive Team, the full Board approved offering the position to Rev. Diane. This is a one-year appointment with the opportunity to serve additional terms at the pleasure of the Board.
