We are excited to announce

Our New Website

Greetings from Wyler Antiques!

We are very excited to officially launch our brand new website. For the past year, we have been working extremely hard to develop a website that would be new, exciting, informative, and hopefully, very interesting. We researched many websites, designers, and photographers and after many interviews and conversations, we feel that we have an extremely talented group of people that we are working with. We believe that they convey and present Wyler Antiques in the manner in which it deserves to be.
We have had a long-standing relationship with many of our clients. This includes those who may need gifts or perhaps are looking for personal indulgences for themselves as well as collectors and museums. The Huntington Museum of Art, The Dallas Museum of Art, and The Corning Museum of Glass are some of the large institutions that we have worked with over the years. We also love to work with individuals who are just starting to learn about and appreciate antiques. We hope that they will enjoy working with us also and that they will want to become part of the Wyler clientele.

Even though things have changed quite a bit in the last year or so, the things that will not change are the principles on which we have built our business - our continued commitment to quality, an exceptional assortment of merchandise, as well as individual and courteous service. These traits have been instilled in me by my predecessors and are qualities that we have always been recognized for. All of our merchandise we stand behind and are glad to answer any questions no matter what they are - we are only a click or a phone call away. We will constantly be adding new merchandise in all of our categories and updating our website frequently. We hope that you will look at it often and hopefully find something of interest. If there is an article, in particular, you are looking for, please let us know. If we do not have it in our inventory, we do have dealers that we speak with quite often, and thus, they will try and help us find that particular piece for you.

For individuals who are not familiar with my family business, I am quite fortunate and honored to be the 4th generation. My Great Grandfather, Sigmund started the business in 1890. His true love was jewelry and he opened a store in New York City. Unfortunately, Sigmund got quite sick at a young age and my grandfather took over the business. As my grandfather's true love was silver, the firm became predominately a silver store. His famous book "The Book of Old Silver" which still sells quite well after 84 years, helped establish him and the firm. He followed that with "The Book of Sheffield Plate". Both books are still great sources of information. Seymour's son, Richard (my late Father) added to the inventory antique English Porcelain and Glassware, and Chinese Export Porcelain. I have been carrying on the tradition for the last 23 years and my latest input is establishing this new website. By having this, I hope to reach new customers who are not familiar with us as well as keep up with the customers we already have.

I truly love antiques and realize how fortunate I am to be in a business that I truly enjoy. Surrounding myself with all of these beautiful treasures, I hope that I can instill this love of antiques into each and every one of you.

Hoping to be able to speak to you soon.

With best wishes,

David M. Wyler
