Join us for The Next STEP Convening at 2021's Midwest LGBTQ Health Symposium!

The Next STEP Convening will be a national gathering of trans and nonbinary (TNB) community leaders, patients, clinicians, and researchers on September 29-30, 2021. Next STEP seeks to build relationships and strengthen TNB research networks, share findings and lessons learned in community-engaged, patient centered TNB health research, and collaborate to identify best practices for TNB community engagement throughout all stages of research.

The Next STEP Convening is committed to including a diverse group of participants, some people who are already engaged in TNB community based research and some people who might be a next generation of TNB researchers. We deeply value lived experience, community engagement and community-based information gathering (whether it is formal research or not). You don’t need a traditional TNB research background to join us!
