We're less than one week from our Block Party on September 1, from 5-8 PM, here at FRC. This is for the whole family and will be a great way to reconnect and have some hot dogs, compete in scavenger hunts for children and teens, draw prizes for first time attendees, try lawn games, big trike races, and more.
Jam and Surf will start meeting the weeks following our block party event. We'll start with a neon night on the 8th to begin our first series, "Eating with Jesus." Our middle school youth group, Jam, will meet from 6:30-7:30 PM, and our high school group, Surf, will again meet from 8-9 PM in the Loft, also on the south end of the main floor at FRC.
Our Sunday Bible Study will begin on September 12 and be held between the morning services, from 9:45 to 10:20 AM in the Loft. Participation encourages a 5-day-a-week Bible reading plan via the YouVersion Bible app in advance to each study. A smart phone isn't required for these studies, but a YouVersion Bible account is needed. Detailed information will be shared at our first Bible study on the 12th.
Some youth group trip dates that have already been set include: Middle School Retreat April 8-10, 2022; High School Mission to Puerto Rico July 17-22, 2022; Middle School Power Connection and Work Camp July 26-31, 2022.
