Main Street Family,

Last week, Pastor Adam challenged us to consider that if you are a follower of Christ, then you are a pastor! This doesn’t necessarily mean that you preach sermons each week, but it does mean that you are called to love and care for those around you. If you haven’t had a chance to watch the service, I’d encourage you to check it out on our YouTube page. My introduction of the message and scripture reading starts at minute 25.

This week he’ll unpack this idea that we’re all pastors, as we continue in our Here I Am sermon series. If you have time, read through 1 Peter 4:8-11 and consider what gifts you have been given to serve our community.

Next Tuesday is our last time to gather for lunch and on Sunday, we’ll talk more about how we’ll be able to connect as a community in September.

Continue to pray, "..Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done..." as we seek to align ourselves with God's plan for the world. I hope to see you for worship and fellowship time this Sunday at 10 am or on-line, as we continue our journey of loving God and loving people.

Blessings!
Pastor Jen

Compassion Update

Did you know that Main Street supports a child through Compassion International?
Check out the bulletin board this Sunday to read the update on our sponsored child and take a look at the prayer guide so you know how to pray for our sponsored child's specific needs.
Thank You Volunteers!

Another huge thank you to Louis  & Michelle (not pictured) for donating their time to the Blood Drive at Main Street Church.

Thanks too for everyone who helped prepare and serve bars for Don Swanson's Celebration of Life service last week.

Please consider moving to some form of electronic giving to support the ministries of Main Street Church. Your donation will help us continuing reaching our community one person at a time, one family at a time. We recognize giving is an act of love, so thank you for loving others through your donation.
