Five Years + A Favorite Dyer

When Cozy opened in 2016, our first grand opening event was a trunk show featuring local, up-and-coming indie dyer Lynette Connors, whose DragynKnyts yarn already had a devoted fan base. Now, five years, four annual trunk shows, and one big name change later, we get to celebrate Cozy's FIFTH anniversary with Lynette again, as we host a week-long pop-up shop of her Willamette Valley Wool Company yarns. 

Finding inspiration in the world around her, and, in particular, the unique regional beauty of Oregon, Lynette creates stunningly saturated tonal and handpainted yarns, in a variety of weights and fibers. And, as part of the fifth-year festivities, she's concocted a special colorway for us, Sapphire Celebration, which will make its debut during the pop-up, alongside other classic Willamette Valley Wool Company favorites. (Yes, there will even be some Forest & Falls, pictured above, from Cozy's July Surprise Box!)

In order to support Oregon's COVID-related recommendations for social distancing, we are not holding our traditional one-day event this year. Instead, we hope to give you an even greater chance to shop and savor the yarn safely, as we feature Willamette Valley Wool Company yarns for an entire week! The pop-up shop will be at Cozy from Saturday, September 4th, through Sunday, September 12, during normal shop hours. Masks will continue to be required in the shop, for all shoppers and guests, and we ask that you stay conscious of others' space and distancing needs while you browse.

We hope you can join us for this annual anniversary tradition in this once-again-unusual year, and we look forward to continuing on into the future!
 

Wondering what happened to our end-of-summer Anniversary Sale this year?

As you may have noticed, across many industries, including yarn and crafts, there have been unprecedented delays and even some shortages in the last few months. In addition to its impact on human health, the pandemic has affected shipping, manufacturing, and even the availability of raw materials. New yarns for fall are on their way, but they are running late this year, and because of this, so is Cozy! Usually, we place outgoing yarns on sale as we make space for new ones; right now, we aren't ready to empty the shelves until we have something with which to fill them. 

Keep checking your inbox for an update, but, currently the plan is for our Anniversary Sale to happen the last week of September: September 27th through October 3rd. Until then, stay well, stay busy, and stay Cozy!
