News from St Andrew's

'Back to School' this Sunday

Can you believe we've reached September already?  I hope you have been able to relax and enjoy the summer.  This newsletter just lets you know about 2 annual September events - our Back to School Children's service and the Ride and Stride fund raising event around local churches.
It won't surprise you to learn that we are continually reviewing how to keep everyone safe while in church and also encourage people to come back.  Look out for another newsletter next week to explain how services will be continuing for the rest of the month and beyond.  If you have any thoughts about safety and particularly our online/zoom provision, I'd love to hear from you.
Many thanks
Sally

'Back to School' Service 5th September
Our children's service on Sunday 5th September at 10am will include all the familiar elements - Bible story, songs, craft, prayer - and will particularly focus on everyone starting the new school year.  This will only be available in church, so please come along and remember we are still asking everyone to wear a mask (unless exempt).
(This is the only service on 5th September.  Evening Communion in September will be on 19th September at 6.30pm)
Ride and Stride 11th September 2021
Join in on a bike, on foot or on horseback to keep Wiltshire's historic churches, looking beautiful and open for the future by raising money for St Andrew's and the Wiltshire Historic Churches Trust.
You can be sponsored to visit as many churches as you can between 10am and 4pm on 11th September.  If you would like to take part on behalf of St Andrew's, please email Brian Clegg and he will ensure a sponsor form is available for people to sponsor you.  Don't forget to ask your friends and family too. Visit the Ride and Stride website for more details
If you would like to continue giving to St Andrew's, either a one off donation or regularly, you'll find details here.
