Regatta 2021

The Club has come back to life! Last weekend was very busy, with two cruiser races and 2 days' dinghy rallying along with members of the Dinghy Cruising Association who came, sailed and camped.

On the social side, there was lots of camping, chatting, and activity all around the site all weekend,  it was all socially distanced and enjoyable both outside and a for a few folk who were happy to be indoors.   Big John, Elvis and Val gave us a performance on Saturday evening and the outdoor bar was very well subscribed.

A constant drizzle fell most of Saturday, but Sunday developed into a beautiful sunny day with a useful sailing breeze. The breeze continued all afternoon and took "My Cloud and "Joei de Vie" onward after Sunday's race to a new destination - West Kirby, on the Wirral.

The have been a few reports on facebook and the forum but it would be nice to collect all the pictures together, then and I can put them in an album on our website. So if you have anything to add, please let me know by replying to this email, David
